Karrueche Tran Turns 25 — Happy Birthday May 17th 2013, 04:01 Karrueche has had quite an eventful year, and she has so many great things to celebrate as she turns 25! Happy Birthday Karrueche! From her tumultuous relationship with Chris Brown to the launch of her new fashion line, Karrueche Tran has had a year full of highs and lows. Take a look back at Karrueche’s biggest moments over the past year as she turns 25! Karrueche’s Relationship With Chris Karrueche’s love life was pretty rocky over the past year. Although Chris and Karrueche seemed to be doing well, their two-year relationship came to a sudden halt in October when Chris broke up with Karrueche. Chris told HollywoodLife.com, “I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.” Although Chris began dating Rihanna soon after their split, he and Karrueche found a way to maintain their friendship. The exes shared a clothing line together called The Kill, and were still in contact. In April, Chris even admitted that he still had “love” for Karrueche even though they were no longer together. Karrueche’s Fashion Career Grows At 24, Karrueche’s career really began to flourish. In January, Karrueche took on the role of fashion designer when she launched The Kill collection. She also expanded her modeling career by taking on some daring photo shoots. She modeled her own clothes from The Kill collection in a sexy shoot for VIBE. Karrueche also stripped down for topless cover shoot for Rolling Out magazine in January. Reuniting With Chris? When it seemed Karrueche was finally out of the picture for good, Chris began hanging out his ex-girlfriend again, which ultimately led to his split with Rihanna in early May. A source told HollywoodLife.com that Chris “has been initiating contact” with Karrueche since he and Rihanna called it quits. Over the past few weeks, the pair has been spotted out together multiple times including at one of Chris’ birthday parties, on a date at Greystone Manor, and at a LA club after one of Chris’ shows. 'The Office' Series Finale: Jim & Pam Say Goodbye To Dunder Mifflin May 17th 2013, 03:29 Plus, familiar faces — including one that rhymes with Shmichael Shcott — return for one last goodbye! After eight years and nearly 200 episodes, the doors of Dunder Mifflin closed forever — to the fans, at least — during the May 16 series finale of The Office, and the big ending went down in the most appropriately weird setting I could have ever imagined: Dwight’s (Rainn Wilson) wedding to Angela (Angela Kinsey)! The nutty nuptials doubled as an excuse to bring back some old faces — including Andy (Ed Helms), whose tearful audition on America’s Next Acapella Sensation had since turned him into a viral sensation. But no return was more welcome — or highly anticipated — than that of Michael Scott (Steve Carell), who had some super-weird words to say to the camera about Dwight and Angela’s union: “I feel like all my kids grew up, and then they married each other. It’s every parent’s dream!” Pam & Jim’s Big Announcement We’ve been with Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fisher) through every phase of their relationship — meeting, dating, getting married and having babies — so it was only fitting that the series finale introduced another major milestone for the couple: Moving as far away from Scranton, Penn., as humanly possible! The show’s main couple is packing its bags and moving to Austin, where I can confidently say they will never work at a place quite like Dunder Mifflin again. More Final-Episode Revelations 1. Meredith (Kate Flannery) discovered her son is a stripper, and she’s totally OK with it. 2. Erin (Ellie Kemper) met her birth parents, played by Joan Cusack and Ed Begley Jr.! 3. Phyllis (Phyllis Smith) and Stanley (Leslie David Baker) were reunited. 4. Ryan (B.J. Novak) and Kelly (Mindy Kaling) ran off together! 5. Nellie (Catherine Tate) might have taken Ryan’s baby to Europe. 6. Oscar (Oscar Nuñez) is apparently very good at Oragami. That last one really blew my mind. 'Grey's Anatomy': Did [Spoiler] Really Die In Season Finale Tragedy? May 17th 2013, 02:52 Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you haven’t watched the ninth season finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy!’ Promos for the May 16 season finale of Grey’s Anatomy promised an explosive ending, but they didn’t say anything about a fatal tragedy! So who was the unlucky victim? Drumroll please… The Chief (James Pickens Jr.)! Yes, it appears the mighty Richard Webber met his untimely end after coming in contact with water and electricity. (I could have told him that was a bad idea, for the record.) We weren’t given official confirmation of his death during this episode, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t lose him forever. Grey’s has a way of being tricky like that. Silver lining? At least Richard will be reunited in heaven with Adele (Loretta Devine), who died back in January after Bailey’s wedding. ‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Shocking Season 9 Deaths In fact, Richard’s death was merely the cherry on top of a horrific Grey’s Anatomy season. As you well remember, we began the ‘year’ by saying goodbye to Mark Sloan (Eric Dane), who died in a coma shortly after losing Lexie (Chyler Leigh) in last season’s plane crash. Good News On The Season 9 Finale Fortunately, the season finale gave us some good news. Even though Richard might have died, and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) ended her relationship with Callie (Sara Ramirez), we did get to see Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) deliver a semi-healthy baby! Mariah and JLo went head-to-head on the ‘Idol’ stage and both singers gave killer performances! Which diva songstress did you like better? There’s only room for one diva on the American Idol stage! Former judge Jennifer Lopez returned to the Idol stage to perform her new single “Live It Up.” JLo wasn’t the only powerhouse songstress who took the stage during the finale, current Idol judge Mariah Carey also performed with a medley of some of her greatest hits! Mariah Carey Performs Medley Of Her Songs During the season finale, Mariah turned the tables and traded her seat at the judges table for a spot on the Idol stage. During her performance, Mariah donned a gorgeous white mermaid gown and looked absolutely stunning! She took her place at the microphone and emotionally belted a medley some of her biggest hits including “Vision of Love,” “Make It Happen,” “My All,” “Hero,” “We Belong Together,” and her new single “#Beautiful.” Jennifer Lopez Performs JLo took the stage and gave a very different performance than Mariah’s soulful medley. Pitbull joined JLo on the stage to sing their new single “Live It Up,” which is sure to be the next dance club hit! While Pitbull rapped, JLo gave a dance-heavy performance sporting a skimpy white dress with knee-high boats. JLo’s back up dancers performed cool acrobatics on swings lining the stage. JLo perfectly balanced showing off her seductive dance moves and singing the lyrics to the song, giving an overall great performance! Interestingly, Idol producers gave JLo the prime performance spot right before the big reveal, while Mariah performed in the beginning of the show. 'American Idol': [SPOILER] Is The Season 12 Winner May 17th 2013, 02:03 Season 12 had some of the best talent ever on the show and on May 16, a winner was crowned. See who took home the title below! Kree Harrison and Candice Glover battled it out to the very end and now, one girl’s life is about to change dramatically! After a long season of American Idol, the winner is…. ‘American Idol’ Winner — Candice Glover Wins Season 12 CANDICE GLOVER! At the end of the night, Candice took the title from season 11 champ Phillip Phillips! However, it was a night full of treats before the winner was announced. A Night Full Of Performances On the May 16 finale, you could cut the tension with a knife! But the nerves were broken up by some amazing performances by Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert, The Band Perry, PSY and Keith Urban. Jenelle Arthur started the night of performances with a fun song, “Done,” with The Band Perry. After a performance by the Top 10 boys with Frankie Valli, Mariah Carey sang a medley of her own hits, including her newest single “Beautiful.” She brought down the house! I only wish it was sung live. Amber Holcomb, who was arguably eliminated prematurely, then sang “Next To Me” with Emeli Sande. Ryan Seacrest happily took a break from the performances to show Kree and Candice award their mentors with a Ford Fiesta! Later, Candice and Kree got a Ford Escape. Next, it was back to the performances. Treating us to what Ryan calls “his global anthem,” PSY performed “Gentleman.” Keith, looking very cute, sang “Little Bit Of Everything.” It was the television premiere of his new track. The amazing Jennifer Hudson returned to perform “Inseparable” with Candice. Honestly, they should have shut down the competition at this point and just handed Candice the crown. Their performance was show-stopping. The girl who should have won the title this season, Angie Miller, sang “Titanium” with former Idol finalist Adam Lambert. Then, Angie immediately went into a duet with her own idol Jessie J! Because Angie forfeited singing her own song, “You Set Me Free,” in order to perform with the UK singer, Jessie J offered to bring Angie with her to the UK to perform her original song on stage together at a future concert. Kree “kicked off her shoes” and sang Keith’s “Where The Blacktop Ends” with Mr. Urban, Randy Jackson played on guitar and Travis Barker played on the drums. It was a feel good performance. Since Aretha Franklin is afraid to fly, she performed with the Top 10 girls via satellite. It was almost as good as the hologram of Tupac. When the song stopped, she immediately disappeared. She must be too much of a diva for an applause. (Mariah, take note.) Jennifer Lopez closed the set of performances with her new single “Live It Up” featuring Pitbull. It was definitely the best performance of the night! Kree Harrison & Candice Glover Fought To The Finish On the May 15 show, each girl sang three songs each. 'Vampire Diaries' Season Finale Recap: Stefan Makes A Dark Discovery May 17th 2013, 01:39 After this game-changing fourth season finale, nothing — and no one — is ever going to be the same in Mystic Falls. Before I start talking about the May 16 season finale of The Vampire Diaries, I need to offer this disclaimer: I’m just as confused as the rest of you, as the final two minutes of this episode blew my mind into tiny little pieces. Yes, Elena (Nina Dobrev) chose between the brothers, someone got the cure — but there was another twist waiting in the wings that I never saw coming… Stefan Is A Doppelganger?! Yeah, you read that right. With Silas turned to stone, Stefan (Paul Wesley) took his body to the lake, intending to bury him at sea for good. But that’s when Silas revealed that, not only is he very much alive, but his true form is actually Stefan! Apparently Silas is the one who created the immortality spell in the first place, but his master plan required a “shadow self” that could die in his place. That’s when Silas, now looking like a red-eyed Stefan, referred to Stefan as his “shadow self,” and proceeded to dump him in the lake! So… is Stefan dead? What kind of hell will the ‘real’ Stefan unleash on Mystic Falls next season? And how many doppelgangers can one small Pennsylvania town hold?! Damn you, Julie Plec, you evil genius! Damn you! Katherine ‘Takes’ The Cure Katherine may have been bugging Bonnie (Kat Graham) for immortality all week, but in the end, it was Elena who held her doppelganger’s fate in her hands. An epic cat fight — or should I say Kat fight — in the halls of Mystic Falls High School ended with Elena shoving the drink down Katherine’s bitchy throat. “Have a nice human life, Katherine,” Elena said — like a boss. While Katherine wasn’t the person I thought would take the cure — I really thought it would be one of the brothers — I think she was the perfect choice. She’s been miserable for a long time, and I can’t wait to see how she handles life as a human next season. Elena Chooses Damon We all knew Elena was going to choose — for the millionth time — between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan, but I don’t think any of us could have predicted just how epic her choice was going to be. Despite Stefan saying that Elena is “the love of [his] life,” his doppelganger ex chose his brooding brother! (My, how things have changed in a year!) Damon told Elena he didn’t want to take the cure because he didn’t want to grow old and die while she remained beautiful and immortal, which prompted her to confess her love for him! Cue the tears, cue the swelling music, cue the big romantic kiss in front of the fireplace. Stefan was pretty bummed to overhear all of this — curse that super-vampire hearing! — but at least he temporarily had his BFF Lexi (Arielle Kebbel) on hand to console him. Strangely, though, Stefan actually congratulated Damon. “I’m not happy about Elena,” he said. “But I’m not not happy for you.” It was kind of a beautiful moment. Oh My God, ‘Mattbekah’ But you know who I am happy for? Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt)! The entire episode was a total payoff for fans who have eagerly awaited the couple’s eventual hookup. Not only did we get a huge kiss between them in the parking lot, but there was even talk of wedding bells! And while it’s obviously way too soon for Matt and Rebekah to even consider marriage, I’m just glad they finally admitted their feelings for one another. I’m not sure what kind of a future they have together — she is heading over to The Originals, after all — but at least they can enjoy a romantic summer of travel. (Please send pics!) Bonnie’s Final Act Though a small part of me really thought Bonnie would find a way to avoid dying for real this week, I was wrong. She graduated with her friends, then “graduated” to the other side… but not with Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) by her side! No, it turns out her resurrection spell totally worked, and now Li’l Gilbert gets to remain in the land of the living. Real talk: The explanation behind Bonnie and Jeremy’s little switcheroo was pretty thin — if anyone can explain it to me, I’ll buy you an entire Taco Bell franchise — but I don’t really care. I’m just happy to have Jeremy back! And while I like Bonnie as a character, I feel like her death has been a long time coming. Rest in pieces, lady. You deserve your rest. ‘Klaroline’s Final Moment — For Now OK, now let’s talk about the real finale reunion: Caroline (Candice Accola) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan)! From the moment Klaus used a graduation cap to behead that crazy witch, I knew we were in for a romantic ride — and boy, were we ever. Under the light of the moon, “Klaroline” came together one last time — until she inevitably crosses over to The Originals, of course — and Klaus said the most romantic thing I think anyone has ever said on this show: “Tyler is now free to return to Mystic Falls. … He’s your first love; I intend to be your last.” Klaus is so not done fighting for Caroline, but in the meantime, I’m super-excited to see Tyler (Michael Trevino) back in town! Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Trust Is Still A Major Issue May 17th 2013, 00:31 Just when we thought Rob and Kristen couldn’t be happier in their relationship, they seem to have hit another rough patch. A relationship expert tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that trust is still a huge problem in the couple’s relationship, but there is hope that they can resolve their issues. After Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson, the pair broke up for a short period, but ultimately reconciled. Although their relationship has been going well, it seems there are still some issues. Relationship expert Dr. Phil Dembo tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that he isn’t surprised that Rob and Kristen’s relationship is on the rocks, because Rob still doesn’t trust Kristen. Kristen Stewart’s Affair Caused Major Problems: Relationship Changed “When there is a betrayal in a relationship, everything changes. The love may be there, as it apparently is between Rob and Kristen (which brought them back together), but the trust has been broken,” explains Dr. Dembo. Dr. Dembo adds, “Love may be the engine that drives a relationship, but trust are your tires that keep it a smooth ride. The Rob/Kristen relationship has experienced a flat tire, and Rob doesn’t trust that the ‘patchwork’ may be strong enough not to have another blow out.” How Can Kristen Save The Relationship? Dr. Dembo has advice for how Kristen can repair her relationship with Rob. “Don’t settle on patching the tire, and find a way to install a brand new set of really strong tires to roll smoothly on,” he explains. “In other words, build trust and attend to it with the level of effort and energy that you haven’t before.” “Its not enough to say I am sorry,” advises Dr. Dembo. “Kristen needs to show the trust, and talk about how the affair has affected Rob and their relationship. NBC has been changing up their judging teams for the next two seasons of The Voice, and they’ve finally confirmed that Shakira, Usher and Cee Lo Green will all be returning to the show at some point! Shakira, Usher and Cee Lo Are All Returning To ‘The Voice’ The fifth season of The Voice, which premieres in the fall, will reunite all four original judges: Cee Lo, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton, Entertainment Weekly confirms. The season five reunion of the original judges means that Usher and Shakira will not be appearing on the show. However, the pair are confirmed to come back for the sixth season of The Voice, premiering in the fall. Usher and Shakira will be joined by Adam and Blake again for the sixth season. Christina Aguilera Returning To ‘The Voice’ Along with Cee Lo, Christina will also be returning to The Voice for the fifth season! Dick Trickle: Did He Committ Suicide Because Of Tragic Illness? May 16th 2013, 23:14 Dick tragically took his own life at the age of 71, and a new report claims that the NASCAR driver was battling an illness and depression. On May 16, Dick Trickle, 71, was found dead at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincoln County, North Carolina from an apparent suicide. The death appeared to be caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dick Trickle Suicide: Did He Kill Himself Because Of Tragic Illness? Multiple sources claim that Dick had been depressed and sick for some time before his death, TMZ reports. The health condition that Dick suffered from is unknown at this time. Dick Trickle Found Dead At 71 According to the North Carolina Police Department, Dick shot himself around 12 p.m. on May 16. Emergency responders received a call before Dick’s death, claiming that there would be a dead body in the cemetery, and it would be Dick’s. Responders tried to desperately to make a return call, but they were unsuccessful. Emergency responders found Dick’s body near his pick up truck. His body was taken from the cemetery and transported to a nearby hospital. The NASCAR driver left a suicide note on the scene, according to TMZ. NASCAR Releases A Statement About Dick Trickle’s Death During his racing career, Dick competed in more than 2000 estimated races. Throughout his career, he logged one million laps and won near 1,000 feature races. He’s also credited as the winningest short track driver in history. After Dick’s death, NASCAR chairman and CEO Brian France released a statement about his death: Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Dick Trickle on his passing today. Dick was a legend in the short-track racing community, particularly in his home state of Wisconsin, and he was a true fan favorite.  Personalities like Dick Trickle helped shape our sport.
